Hello! My name is Joshua Phillips. I am a Freelance Cameraman and Photographer based in Truro, Cornwall.
I have worked on a wide range of exciting productions in a number of different roles - which has lead me to my area of expertise today.
I specialise in two areas;

My career in the Film and Television industry started with composing soundtracks for independent films and productions. After three years of Composing, I began a BA in Television at Falmouth University.
Since starting the Television BA (Hons) I have worked on a number of different productions such as feature film trailers, music videos, web-series content, promotional projects, informative content and documentaries. After trying my hand at many different roles I discovered my passion lies in the visual composition of my work, both as a Cameraman and working with visual composition as a DOP.
My stylistic identity is specialised in lighting and composition, while my artistic vision and interpretation are trained through my work on camera. My true passion is in factual productions and, as a DOP, I can offer cinematic and rich visuals to documentary shorts and feature-length productions. I have recently branched out into providing my specialist photography and videography skills to small business'.
